Turning ‘Microwave Men’ into ‘Food Fighters’
Do you have experience running a small commercial kitchen?
Do you consider yourself a food champion?
Are you blokey?
We have been awarded a pilot grant from the Movember Foundation to turn a group of men into ‘Food Fighters’.  The men will take over the café in the health centre for five days and serve nutritious, hearty food to the local community. This is not just about sharpening their skills in the kitchen, but giving them a chance to be social connected and valued in their community.
Can you help us deliver this exciting pilot by managing a small café kitchen, whilst mentoring a small group of men? Can you develop a very small, but exciting menu of hearty, healthy café meals?
For an informal discussion please contact Mark Graham (Chief Executive) on 01934 427426
